"The program's blend of weekly check-ins, community group chats, and hands-on workshops gave me a deeper understanding of how social media actually works and how to create content that performs. The growth I've seen has already exceeded my expectations, and I'm just getting started."

Hi stars,
WTF is up with the July weather in NYC? Streets are saying that June was too good to us and the haze, violent storms, and extreme heat are our punishment. Not that I’d really know, because I’ve spent the last 30 days on twelve planes in six cities with 80% of my flights having weather-related issues. DW, I knew it was Mercury retrograde, so I prepared, though this one was aggressive.
On Monday, Thanks to yet another abrupt flight cancellation that was putting me at risk of missing back-to-back speaking engagements for Girlboss and LinkedIn, I had to fly home and spend a night in my hometown of St. Louis to make it all work. At 1am, I arrived to sleep in my 13-year-old brother’s room, which felt strangely reminiscent of my own teenage bedroom since he inherited my old furniture.
If you just pulled up my old Tumblr from that time, it’s basically a mood board of my life right now. You really have to laugh — I have very similar taste (red, animal print, bitchy quotes, black and white, Chanel) and very similar confidence. Teenage me had TASTE, okay, and she had no clue how she was going to make it out of the chaotic life she was born into, but she was GOING to look good doing it. While I need a couple million to realize my truest fashion and interiors visions, I am certainly on the way!
It’s been a big month for me professionally (Cannes Lions, book #2, PEOPLE feature, big interviews, and speaking to 17k people), and while I primarily felt frantic when I had to rush to Newark to head home, the gratitude I felt in the twin bed I grew up on turned out to be the grounding I needed.
Would younger you be obsessed with your life? I can honestly say yes. Mine would be.
In this week’s vlog (hello YouTube!), I shared a typical few days in my portfolio career. You’ll find me shopping, interviewing fabulous founder friends, attending brand events, and learning how to manage people. It’s something I watch back and think, thank God, I prayed for this! Watch the vlog here:
I want to be clear that it didn’t always feel like this. There are still things I’m working through — that frantic energy that steals my days, comparisonitis I haven’t quite kicked, staying connected to my body and health. FWIW, a year ago I felt constantly overwhelmed because managing yourself is SCARY and I was terrified.
What changed everything was treating my personal brand like an asset instead of a performative race: building the tools and frameworks that let me manage it all on my terms, the same architecture I told you on Tuesday my Perfectly Pedigreed Peers keep refusing.
Even in a month of flight changes and career chaos, I don’t identify with that old overwhelm, because I’m the one architecting my work instead of letting it happen to me…and sometimes remembering that takes a little nudge back to where you came from.
Thinking “okay, but how do I do this myself?” Let me introduce you to Creator Essentials!
Take Yliana. She came to an Alignment Edit workshop this spring with less than 10k followers and no content strategy or clarity. She joined Creator Essentials that same week, and four months later she’s grown to 44k on Instagram, monetizing across multiple streams with her series Raising Rich, building a beautiful life for her and her daughter. She’ll be speaking inside this cohort, so you’ll hear it from her directly.
One client emailed me this week to say she’d made six figures in contracts in a week after Creator Essentials. Another got her first thousand app downloads. Different women, different goals, same blueprint — by Q4, you could have a real brand and business online, with your name on it. Everything you need to know here.
Somewhere there’s a younger you who dreamed up a life for yourself — let’s go get it!
With love,
Alexis
